Well.
My notebook and some money was stolen, but I still have my old cpu to play with!!
For that same reason, I won't be able to do drawings or paintings until I buy a new notebook, and a new graphic tablet (the pencil from the old genius one was lost on the ordeal, it seems)

Worked this thing with the tutorial from the great =ChaosFissure

Softwares:
Apophysis 7x and Chaotica.

Cheers!

It was a surprise for me; I never thought that I would recieve a DD again -the first one I just give credits to the Adventure Time fandom- but this one as does not have any fandom on it, it makes me very happy to see how has been received (=

Thanks!
I sometimes, when I am searching for a nice color theme, I only start to randomize the colors, and if I find something that I like, I then change some of the values until I find something that I like.

It is a bless that Apo has the randomize colors fuction (=

Oh yes!
And there will be more!!

Next week I should had some time on my hands to start playing a bit with fractals.
Any idea of what should I try? A flower? A julia? A whatever it comes from the first random fractal?

julia  a simple fractal that can be modified with anything...

Interesting 3D effects around the middle of the piece -- I have the impression that there's a sharp edge to a box. Pretty nifty ^_^  For the most part the overlapping sections and black space works very well to add to the 3D effect; I'm not quite sure how I feel about the lower right corner; it's nice in a smaller view but I feel that its impact is slightly less noticeable and causes it to stand out a bit more in full view.

I really like how some of the colors work together, particularly the green/blue/white area slightly below the center of the image.

Nice job ^_^

Thanks a lot!
your words are an inspiration.

I am currently using it as a wallpaper, and left all the icons on the right upper corner. It works great!

I think that a lot more can be done with this technique, but I am in need of more experience before doing more things. At least on colors, I know that I can handle it. Drawing and painting left a lot of experience on that department xD

Thanks again!

Oh definitely there's a lot that can be done using this technique.  I've not really tried doing too much with it outside of this tutorial, as I generally work with a vastly different abstract style, but I'm sure there's a lot of creativity that can be injected into in some way ;D

Keep at it!  If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to offer what help I can!  This is what I have a lot of experience doing, despite wishing I could draw or paint on some half-mediocre level...

I have not tried to much abstract yet. My fractals tend  to have some kind of order on them =P

I have played a bit with your clouds tutorial though (I think that it is also on my favs), but I am way more impressed with yours results on Volcano, Prismatism or Judgement.
I have absolutely not idea how did you do those, but if you are planning to do a tutorial someday again, you may want try that (=

I think that my major problem is that, when I do a piece, I tend to forget later that the technique exist xD. I may be a bit close minded on the results of the triangles, due to my lack of experience -but that is easily solved! practice and practice, and keep practicing! There is no tutorial that would give me the magical formula to do great fractals with no experience!
